Spurrier has always seemed a lazy recruiter, Jadaveon Clowney notwithstanding. There's really no excuse that Clemson should ever outrecruit SC when the latter is in the Southeastern Conference.

The advantage Dabo has is he does shite like the nae nae with his team...the kids love that shite, evidently. He looks even more retarded than his name sounds, but it is what it is. Dude dances like the whitest white boy ever to exist. Like...makes an albino look like a mexican white.
Dabo is a retard

This doesn't make much sense given we have outrecruited most SEC programs in recent years. We beat out LSU all the time for players out of state.

This. All of this.
The problem with the decline is that it's completely on his shoulders, and he doesn't seem to care. You went from 33-6 ( and still underachieving in '11 and '13), to 7-6 last season. OK, so *that* is your rebuilding year and you plug holes and move forward. But the team is significantly worse this year than it was last year. No work has been done to improve the state of the team.
And during the stretch where beating Clemson's arse was as normal as the sun shining, Spurrier *still* let Dabo out-recruit him inside the state. That's absolutely ludicrous.
The program has fallen into a situation where nepotism and hiring your buddies has become the norm. And the wheels are falling off because there hasn't been a single coaching upgrade since Johnson/Beamer/Graham left.
The capital improvements that have been made during his tenure are real and long-lasting. The next guy to come in should be able to leverage that, and do so quickly, to begin immediately competing for the East again.
Tanner has to know that the writing is on the wall. If he hasn't begun making contact with agents to gauge interest, then he has no business in his role.
