Were you getting ready to turn off the TV? I thought the season was over. I thought the team would quit and final score would end up something like 48-10.

Yes, luckily my son had fallen asleep next me on the couch and I was watching with the sound off and couldn't move. Otherwise, I would have turned it off.

Being in the stands you could tell everyone was extremely deflated. The last 1:30 of the half turned that around real quick.

When they were down 24-3 that was also some of the worst football I've ever seen Tennessee play and that's saying something considering the last 8 years.

I was never going to turn off the tv but yeah that was not good. I was afraid I'd misjudged things badly because we weren't just losing but playing poorly. I'd had a good feeling about this game about 2-3 days before but at that point I was worried and hoping something, anything, would go right.

I was gonna watch the whole thing regardless but I started to reach for the whiskey about hallways through the second but I said well I'll give it a little more time and things started turning around

I was watching in a bar in Athens and everyone was celebrating but I knew what was coming.
I've seen the story way too many times under Richt. Y'all whipped our tails and aside from that lucky fumble return and punt return we should have been nuked.
