God that game after the 1st Q questioned my sanity if Muschamp had been fired yet.

Good grief that was ugly.

we weren't exactly taking too many chances.

that said, i think mac is making sure to keep grier out of unnecessary mistakes.

Hope Morrison isn't seriously injured.

Need him for the next two games

In all honesty, I think we just wanted to get out of there and prepare for LSU.

We called a very "safe" game, no real throws down the middle of the field, didn't run it too often. It'll be a different game next week.

I told you guys, though, Mizzou wasn't that great of a team.

And please, let's not start with the "but they have an excellent defense!", it's serviceable, it's not bad, but it's no where near elite.

If our offense came out with fangs, we would have carved them up no problem. We got Grier some experience throwing the long passes, but we can't rely on him to do that consistently.

Mizzous overall defense isn't elite but they are a solid unit. I will however say they have an elite defensive line.

And we played right into it with so many dropbacks when our team just isn't built around that. I really wish we would have shown more of our offense, but understand that LSU is a far more worrisome foe.

I really hope we can stop Fournette.

Once Tabor scored on the pic....our staff decided to just put it in cruise control. The offense was also facing a fierce Mizzou defense and was in Grier's grill all night.

We dominated them and if you rewatch the replay and what our defense did...you should be happy...but some of you want nothing but offense.. I love watching dominant defense just slowly strangle the life out of our opponents.

It doesn't apply to LSU, and this particular thread deserves bumping, you will see. I am out after that.
