victory if Michel had not fumbled a kickoff and Reggie Davis had not dropped an easy TD pass. Those were not coaching mistakes.

Poor technique and focus are coaching issues.

A coach can teach the best techniques and how to focus but it's not the coach's fault when a player doesn't use those techniques or takes their eye off the ball because they think they caught it before they have.

Since Spurrier is gone, you can now be a South Carolina fan.

Players doing wrong or right is ultimately the coaches responsibility. Coaches get fired when their players fail and get extensions when their players do well.

The powers that be are obviously not as ignorant as you and can determine when something is the player's fault and not the coach's fault.

Come on, now. Richt is responsible for Michel fumbling and a pass that is dropped? Coaches get fired when they continuously have poor years. Richt does not. He continuously wins 10 games. Coaches do NOT get fired for winning 10 games a year.
