Not a lot, but they don't need a lot. For instance, TCU got scholarship sanctions in the 80s purely on hearsay from Texas boosters regarding car dealerships in Ft. Worth.
If there is a strong effort from a school like Bama (for example) to bust your program, it's probably gonna happen.
