The game was there long before the Jaguars and the current stadium. They have the Gator Bowl (whatever they call it now) and they had a Super Bowl. They would not level the field if the Jags leave. They would look for other uses like they used to.

The stadium exists, for all intents and purposes, because of this game. Jacksonville isn't going to give it up just because the worthless Jags leave (sorry DGD).

They knocked the gator bowl down to build a bigger one for the jaguars.

What other uses are there for a stadium that size without an nfl franchise?
