Wow 17 5 stars, thats impressive. IIRC, quite a few were DBs right? And you have like 1 (FitzBadger) playing at a 5 star level?

As of today, Alabama USC and Ohio State are the only schools whose "average" player is 90 or above on that 247 composite list they put out a few weeks ago.
Does that simply turn into the best athletes? I don't know about that. Do we consider 270 5* DE's athletes? I certainly do but the OP may have meant 'skill position' type athletes

If I recall, there are four 5 star DBs on the roster: Tony Brown (Soph), Marlon Humphrey (RS Fresh), Kendall Sheffield (True Fresh), Minkah Fitzpatrick (True Fresh).
Fitzpatrick is starting as a true freshman in nickel and playing very well.
Humphrey is starting at corner as a RS Freshman and starting to play well, has made some mistakes typical of first year players.
Tony Brown started some as a true freshman, got hurt, and has been passed by Humphrey for now.
Sheffield is red-shirting, which isn't unusual for DBs at Alabama unless there is a huge need to play early.
I don't think Alabama fans are disappointed with any of these young 5 star DBs in the least. These guys are coming along and the next couple of years Alabama's secondary could be beastly.
