Damn it that looks frickin' wonderful. A friend had a stag beer in his hand last week. He said it was shiite but like you mentioned some sort of tradition of his with another friend that had brought it to him.

Because it was from his friend and I didn't know if he had a lot, I didn't ask to try one and he didn't offer.

I'm teetering on whether or not to try one. Hell, who am I kidding. I try almost every beer I can.

Beer tip: Someone mentions "smoked" beer. Tell them to frick off.

My friends who are the sophisticated beerknurd types absolutely despise Stag and what it stands for. My salt of the earth down home rural Missourah family members guzzle it and will boycott a bar if they don't have it. It is what it is.

But whatever you do, DO NOT serve a warm Stag to a Missourian, even your spouse, because that's a shootin'.
