Yeah, let's praise him for not whining and quitting the team because he wasn't starting at the position he wanted. I mean, that's just special. Amazing.

The point is that the alleged behavior is not consistent with his demonstrated character.
How many college football players have packed-up and left when they did not get to start at the position for which they were recruited? I can think of a dozen without really trying.
