Tennessee is improving. They have leads to blow, as opposed to last season when they were trailing in those games.

The biggest thing I've noticed this year, going back to the first game with BG, is that they get up, and then go into this phase where it seems as though they almost expect the other team to quit, rather then dropping the foot on the throat. They have learned how to execute, now they need to learn how to win. I like Butch, and UT would be foolish to jettison him at this point.

Yours isn't a popular opinion but it's fairly accurate. It's still losing though and that's not gonna make any fans happy. That said, the jury is still out on Jones and will be until the end of the 2016 season regardless of anyone's frustrations.

I agree with your post. Granted...if it continues you just can't keep him around, but I think it's premature to get rid of him.
