Yes I will agree with you on that, seems like it's the end of the line for him.
Bear was a heavy drinker... he aged at an accelerated rate, ha.
At this juncture, do you think Spurrier is leaving SC in better shape than he found it?

I don't see how anyone can disagree with the notion that he did. 9–5 and a division title, followed by three straight 11–2 seasons? That's respectable work at any school, especially one that recorded an 0–11 campaign in just the previous decade with a NC winning coach.
The past couple of years have been disappointing, but 7–6 isn't exactly pathetic, and South Carolina is now in people's minds as a winning program.
