The added weight has killed Cowarts ability to maintain an edge. He needs to move inside next year and play like Nkemdeichi did against bama

Kerryon Johnson was a beast at safety in the UA all star game. He could be a 4* prospect easily on either side of the ball.

I'm not sure how Muschamp's defense works, but 3-4 DEs are not typically setting the hard edge like in a 4-3. The weak-side DE does have more responsibility in that department if you're bringing pressure from the strong side. OLBs are normally the "edge setter", so the weight issue is likely not hindering his play.

Although, like I said, I do not have a great understanding of Muschamp's defense, and I haven't watched enough of AU to figure the schemes out. That's just based on typical 3-4 play along with watching how Mason's operates.
