You make yourself and other LSU fans look bad.

Why do auburn fans get so hostil when you bring this up? I personally don't like Cam as a person but respect his as a player. He was definitely the best player in college football and won a heisman for it. And I definitely can't blam his dad for trying to get money for him. At the time they had know idea that he would go pro. So getting something is better than walking away with nothing. Besides I'd take this scandal over Winstons rape accusations. That's a real scandal, but that's so last year.

More tired than hostile. There are people who believe with every fiber of their being that Auburn outbid MSU for Cam. I mean they live and breath it like a religion. And there is no evidence whatsoever to support it.

These people (mostly UGA, Alabama and LSU supporters) then scoff at Auburn fans' belief that he probably didn't get a big payout, even though ALL evidence supports that position.

So it's not really hostility. It's a mixture of fatigue and amazement that people can continue to believe something so fervently when all of the evidence contradicts their position.
