The defense and Mauk won 2 division titles. Makes no mistake...the defense, not Mauk, won several games. He has a stellar record because he greatly benefitted from a strong defense that allowed him to go 3 and out over and over. Mauk's a competitor no doubt, but a better QB wouldn't have had as many close games as Mauk. A better QB would've finished the game in the 3rd Q or before.
