anything can happen but it is his first start against an SEC opponent. I think a lot of Mizzou fans are putting a lot of pressure on Lock to be successful

That is very accurate. It is very reminiscent of Vols fans a couple years ago with Dobbs.

Our media writers have been pumping the Lock sunshine from Day 1, which has ramped up expectations.

I think he is going to be great...but he isn't going to be peyton manning out of the gate. He is fairly different from Mauk in style though. More traditional pocket passer. Less of a threat to run...but better at short and intermediate throws.

I'll really be watching for his pocket awareness and ball control. We knew maty is/was a gunslinger who was going to have some interceptions to go along with amazing plays. I imagine we will see less long balls and more consistent short balls. It will be up to the receivers to make something happen....which hasn't happened yet.

To be honest, I just want to see Lock run the offense as designed. I have no expectations for this game other than I want to see offensive improvement...and I know we will.
