re: The decline of Bama's defense since 2011

I would be stoked to ever get a defense as reliable across the board as 2011. 2009 had more of the willpower (McClain & Arenas), but 2011 was overall more talented.

The past few years we have been lacking IMO (1) enough speed at LB (2012/2013) and enough quality depth and (2) tall cornerbacks playing in their natural position. Really that is it, but with the overall size of the receivers in the SEC, our short cb's couldn't cut it and our taller ones really didn't seem to be a good fit.

Very excited about this years d and very optimistic about our d going forward the next few years.
