We gave him $650k + $1.25mil buyout?

As far as I can see, the buyout for Golloway should be $750K, not $1.25 mil.

Golloway signed his contract on the 14th day of June 2013. That's over two years into the contract, ergo fewer than three years left.

By the way, dude's base salary was only $250K per year. Three (3) coaching seasons left on his contract X $250K = $750K.

So basically, like I said, the "buyout" is merely the contractually committed BASE SALARY per year remaining on the contract. Not anything over and above the contract itself. Nothing EXTRA added.

But please, don't let me stop y'all JJ haters from making up some more stupid shite.

Automatic 1-year extension if Auburn has winning season in 2014, (went 36-26 and got an extension) 15 and 16

So the three you calculated, plus the one year extension = 4 years.

Buyout is $1,250,000 with four or more years(see you post) remaining on contract. Goes down $250,000 each year contract length goes down a year
