Because big games against real teams are won in the 1st quarter. Makes sense.

Must not have watched LSU's dominating 2nd and 3rd quarter D.

This is literally just a response to a retarded thread made by an Aggie to prove how stupid they are when we are following their philosophy they've dreamed about in regards to 4th quarter D.

3 points allowed in the first half this season. Our starters are awesome when fresh. Need to work on the depth and stamina to limit the second half scoring.

He's actually right. I'm worried about the line depth late in games and especially in the gauntlet tail end of the schedule. There is a notice aly fatigue with the line in the fourth quarter.

No. Your lack of defensive line depth shows in your 4th quarter defense. It will come back to bite you

Easily the biggest setback for this team. DL depth hurts right now and if there are any injuries we could get gashed pretty bad by physical teams like Bama.

But it's not like they had a ton of time, or am I remembering incorrectly? Yes, yall stopped them from scoring on a long play, but it reached the point in the game where they HAD to attempt a FG.

I'll admit that MSU was scary, but come on. It was a road SEC game vs a decent team. Plenty of national title winners have had to win close ones like that.

Hell 2008 bama only beat a bad Tennessee team because Cody blocked a chip shot FG. Yet they went on to win the BCSNC.

It happens.

and LSU didn't get a warm up game

a lot of things went against them going into that and they still were able to barely escape it

Yes, LSU stopped them within the amount of time left in the game. Just because you don't have the ability to buy extra time doesn't mean LSU didn't stop them.

And this happens with all good teams in this conference. See 2008 bama, 2007 LSU, 2010 Auburn. All squeaked by teams who weren't very good. It's called SEC football. You've been here long enough to realize this, man.

Exactly

Let's see how A&M would fair opening the season vs MSU on the road. I like the Dawgs odds.

Forcing them to try a 55 yard FG with a kicker who's career long was 40 yards is exactly what stopping them is

50 yard FG (they had a penalty that had nothing to do with LSU defense that forced it to move back)...

And they climbed back in the game long before the missed FG, but good to see the denial is strong.

Everything yall warned us about 3rd and Chavis was EXACTLY what happened during the Moo State game.

I'm not saying that y'all should have won, just wanted to make the point that holding someone to a FG that would win the game as time expires isn't exactly stopping someone.

With that said, didn't remember that it was a 55 yarder

I don't get this wasn't very good talk? Are you confident after watching an A&M team get dominated by Arkansas for 3.5 quarters going up against a guy in Dak who can escape pressure, run, and throw for big plays?

A&M better wake up this week or all this smack talk of MSU being "average" while being ranked in the top 25 will be comical.

Are you forgetting who won the game?

So you deny that LSU stopped MSU from winning? It doesn't get any better than this. Talk about denial

just trust in 3rd and Chavis

tennessee warned us early and we denied it but after years of having him, it'll rear it's ugly head around soon enough and you'll be like WTF is this stupid as shite
