There's a passage in Revelations about offering up prayers to the saints if memory serves correct.

Revelation 8:3-4...And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
Saints meaning believers/born again Christians...does not mean good dead catholics. So the prayers of God's people. So still not a point of reference to pray to saints that are dead. Another reason u would t pray to Mary or the Saints is because you can go straight to source.
Also John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Not knocking anything I just personally disagree. I don't see where any of it is backed up by scripture. To each their own .
