Ignorance like this is.... No never mind. You're just an ignorant prick. Catholics don't worship The Pope, Mary, or saints. What's wrong with asking them to pray for you? When a Catholic prays to one of those three they aren't praying for worship, they are praying to ask them to pray for them in addition to asking God for his blessing and prayer. Show me where a little extra prayers can hurt.

I'll play. I disagree with the no Catholics worship that's ridiculous. Just because they may worship differently doesn't mean they don't at all.

Where in the Bible does it tell you that Mary and the saints can pray for you at all? I don't believe they have divine authority to hear my prayers.

There's a passage in Revelations about offering up prayers to the saints if memory serves correct.

Look, I'm not Catholic. But how is asking a saint/angel/etc to pray for you that much different in principle compared to asking your living friends and family to pray for you in times of need???

"Well, I sure am in a rough patch. I sure would love to reach out to my good friend and head deacon Bobby and his very righteous family to pray for me, as I have done for the past 40 years of my life until yesterday when they all died in a car wreck. Although they are all in heaven now-and I have no doubt about this because they were Godfearing folk, saw each one of em walk down the aisle during the invitation and confess themselves a sinner and ask Jesus to come into their heart and get baptized the following weekend-and, if by proximity only, closer to God than I am right now, I can't ask them to pray for me. That would be blasphemous AF."
