I was a Sooner fan for many years in my youth before I grew up so I am far from a hater of the program.
What I was getting at (without saying out loud) is that A&M just did a half bazillion dollar stadium renovation so I would imagine they are merely snickering at what they would view as OU's feeble attempt to keep up with Aggy in the stadium arms race.
Now that I've spelled it out for you, are we on the same page?
