That's not what I mean. You've got a very conservative philosophy, some may call you extreme. Yet, I can have a discussion with you and sometimes even work toward a consensus. That's what I mean by reasonable.

The problem I see is an electorate that demands perfect for their ideology, or its a failure. Perfect is impossible. There's no room to find the good.

The left who wants that are being just as unreasonable, accepting your socialist point at face value.

What I'm calling for is a political climate open to discussion, instead of the outrage cycle far too many are caught up in.

Believe it or not, I've actually mellowed a bit.

Like I said, the goalposts have moved towards the left over the last couple of decades to the point that a truly Conservative point of view is considered extreme now.
