Here's the picture. The Alabama Safety and DB bit on how great Kelly was selling the run. At the time they both bit (as clearly evidenced in the picture), no lineman was beyond 3 yards downfield. This is just some shite Saban made up to take the heat off of himself and his fans are buying it all up. The fact is, the DBs broke down and OM made a big play that they deserved.

Does the CB position have anything to do with linemen not being allowed 7 yards down the field when the ball is released by the QB?

You are playing an idiot here.

Lord Saban said the reason they gave up the TD is because he teaches his DBs to read linemen and to draw up when they are upfield.

It's clear that this was a lie. Both DBs broke in to stop Kelly on the run fake as seen in the picture, and not because they were reading some lineman like Saban was complaining about.

This proves that it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the play.

And you buying in to what Saban is saying, just does what he wanted it to do and takes the heat off of him losing yet another big game.

Take a look at your fanbase, everyone's already relaxed again because you bought the whole narrative of "Oh, 5 turnovers and we only lost by 6" or "Oh, illegal TD and we only lost by 6 so we should've won."

You should really be pissed at your Stalinesque propagandizing coach who feeds you lies to keep you from realizing that you were totally dominated in a game.
