As an outsider looking in I think a question no one has really looked at is how good is OU really?
Up 17-3 on Akron at the half and obviously pulled away but Akron is absolutely terrible. Then last last week Tulsa hung around most of the night and put up 603 yards of offense after UT was only able to manage 254 total yards. It may be several weeks before you can really gauge how good of a team OU is.

Absolutely agree. OUs offense has looked anemic in the first half of every game so far. Make no mistake Akron has an excellent defense and Tulsa puts up a lot of points on anybody and also benifitted from a hail mary and two fumbles inside OUs redzone the game wasn't that close. That being said OU could be an 8 win team or a 12 win team. Feels a lot like 2000. they started ranked 19th and won a title. Hard to tell at this point but I DO know Oklahoma is better than Florida this year.
