Its probable that Bama intended to do just that, pound the ball on Ole Miss for the remainder of the game. however, when bama cut the lead to 30-24, the rebels scored 2 touchdowns in a row. suddenly, the score was 43-24 and the Crimson Tide was behind the 8 ball for the 2nd time in the game. its really pretty simple why they threw the ball, wouldn't you agree?

No
What was working at 30-10 to get you back into the game would've given you a better chance. Bama had plenty of time to run the rock then, and had plenty of time to run that last drive for the go ahead score too. You do it until a team stops it. Ole Miss D was getting gassed at that point too, and that quick Ole Miss score could've gassed Ole Miss defense even worse. Especially if Bama keeps Ole Miss D on the field longer after that quick score with runs. Bama's timing with their offensive playing calling has been suspect for awhile now.
What's done is done but that would've been my playing calling last night. A heavy dose of #2 Henry in the 4th, with a change up scat back play here and there.
