We lost by six to a very good Rebs team. Sure, we have some shite to figure out, but I don't think all is lost yet. There are a thousand scenarios that could happen that could get us back into it.

Don't get me wrong. Our kicker sucks. I get that. We've overcome bad kicking before (2011)

Our QB needs to settle the frick down, but I think he showed a lot of heart tonight. You all know by now that I'd rather us start Barnett, but I think we (myself included) need to get behind our QB.

Our o-line desperately needs to gel, and I think it will.

Our return game needs a change in personnel. Bring on Marlon Humphrey for returner.

All is not lost. Roll Tide.

Yeah but Ole Miss is in the same division. They have to lose at least 2 games for Bama to have a shot at winning the West. Still a realistic possibility though.

Excellent point.

He actually looked better and better at PATs as the game went on and that onsides kick was fricking money.

We need consistency at the position. Couple that with some better playcalling and we'll be alright moving forward.

Our interior O-Linemen got fricking worked in this game. I don't know how many "chicken wing" blocks we threw at Nkemdiche overall, but it was a lot by all 4 interior guys.

Just fricking take a knee in the end zone and start at the 25.

Absofrickinglutely.

The season is not over. We have 9 games left to make it back to the top. Win out and we are fine.

tOSU didn't play but 1 tough game after that. We have to play a lot of tough games and on the road, and I don't see Ole Miss losing two games this season so we would lose out on the tie breaker even if we went 11-1. I hope that isnt that case becasue I would hate to think that we could go 11-1 with our only lose tonight as bad as we played and not get into the playoffs.

We still have life, but we gave that game away. We spotted them 17+ points and still nearly won it. Just fricked ourselves over, time and time again. On to the next game.

I'm not sold on the Ole Miss defense. For all the derp tonight, I think if Kiffin runs Henry more in the 4th they would have straight fell over from fatigue. LSU for sure is going to test the hell out of them.

Won't happen IMO. I remember thinking that OM wasn't going to lose two games last year, and then it happened. Another interesting scenario: they might not have to lose two. What if we beat LSU, they beat OM, OM beat us. We could potentially win the tie breaker.

If this loss happened in November, I'd be more inclined to think we're fricked. For now, I think those scenarios settle themselves.

Win out and we are in. Lose and we're not. Same as it's always been.

Ole Miss plays Vandy and Fla from the east....they get LSU and UTAM only 2 other quality secW teams at home. There schedule is very favorable so I dont see them losing 2 of those game.

I could see the 3 ways tie scenario though.

We are fans of a VERY successful college football team. With that comes the realization that teams lose and still make out with great seasons. Everyone should know this.

Not coming at you Chatta, just saying that this is a very normal thing to happen.

Woah! It was never a doubt in my mind that they would frick that up. I knew they'd start losing.

Another potential thing to think about is that the committee last year was somewhat willing to put two SEC teams in the four team playoff. Had Miss St. not folded like a cheap lawn chair to OM, we could have potentially seen that scenario last year.

Sometimes I take a break from negabammering. This is one of those rare occasions.
