Nutt didn't make a championship appearance until 2002, which was year five for him not year four.

We lost to Georgia 3 - 30. How very fricking impressive.

Here is Nutt's record his first three years:
9-3
8-4
6-6

Notice any pattern there Sunhog?

If we get stomped in the dirt by Nevada Las Vegas in our bowl game this year with a 6-6 record, then I guess we can start with the unfavorable comparisons to Nutt, but right now you just look like a man overboard.

I went off what DaleDenton said regarding Nutt and his first SEC championship game without looking it up. However, now I'm thinking about it I remember exactly where I was sitting at on campus in 2002 watching us get demolished by UGA.

Anyhow, Bielema is currently sitting on the level of Crowe with a majority of the season left. (Coach B is given an extra game to help his record 2006-present schedules) He needs to win 7 games to get to Ford's level of success in year three.

Bret needs to win 30 games in four years to accomplish Nutt's success and 34 games to get to Petrino's level at year four.

Bret is sitting at 11 wins and will need 19 more wins in two seasons to even achieve Nutt's level of wins. As it stands now, he will still fall behind Nutt in year four. I'm not okay with that, if that is how it plays out.

We already got beat by Toledo which is equivalent to UNLV or Citadel each in year three.

The point.. We were sold a bill of goods that we would be trending up exactly like Petrino while having it sustained. However, the season isn't over and we could very well trend up but getting to 8 wins this year is harder now we screwed up with Toledo. The hype train needed to stop and when the dust clears it looks like he will fall behind Nutt's record in year three and four.. However, all can be forgotten if he wins us an SEC title this year or next which would be better than any previous coach.

If Coach B sustains 8-9+ win seasons then he will proven to have built a program that can compete in the SEC year in and year out. It's his mouth that is pissing a lot of people off when his win level is worse than Ford's in year three in and out of conference.

It doesn't help an old friend from Wisconsin said, "He cannot win the close ones or the big ones, you'll see" that certainly sticks out in my mind and I hope he is wrong.. I think he was referring to the Rose Bowls, Ohio State and 2-4 Bowl record..

He does have conference championships and that is what we want the most.

I love it. After Saturday everyone should be criticizing the coaches and the team. If can't take the criticism, no way they win a game on the road and then they'll hear a much harsher tone from the fans and alumni.

Time for Bielema to get his boys to bounce back and hit someone.

I didn't say that, I said he and Ford each won the SEC West within their first four years, which both did.
