Everyone thought LeMay was going to be a superstar, and Parks would step right in behind him, and then Ramsey would be itching to come in and set new records. Those are the disappointments I was considering in my original post. Each of those have been failures so far and we have to bring in Lambert to lead the team.

Yea, I think most can concede that they screwed the pooch on evaluating LeMay. I don't think they expected Park to really be the guy because they expected Ramsey to be him and Park to push him. Could be wrong on that buy, yea, Ramsey was another failed evaluation. It sucks, they missed on 2 guys for post-Murray. I will be the first to say Richt is a jagaloon but ultimately they were due to miss on a few folks.

What I really am miffed about is they missed on Deshaun Watson. I wish he was top priority and we bought his momma a house. Deshaun Watson on this team would change everything between getting Georgia over the hump, giving us a potential heisman, raising my credit score, and lowering the states collective cholesterol levels.

Maybe Richt told him to sit in the back of the bus and he didn't like it and left?

Who's place was he going to take?

Even in the best of programs...not every top prospect turns out to be great, or even good. Look at Alabama. They pull in 4 and 5* QBs every single year and they just get average play (as a whole) from their QBs. And you HAVE to compare us to other teams. I mean, if we are in the top 5 in the country over those years, how much better do you think we should be?
