But it makes no sense to drop someone unless someone else proved better. It would be interesting to see which ranked teams threw the kitchen sink at their opponent and which ones played a heavy rotation of 2nd and 3rd stringers once the game was in hand. I saw at least two SEC teams that did the latter, while some ranked teams kept their first string in just to run up the score and "look better".

Probably a jab at us, but Kelly played only 7 our 14 drives. It's not our fault that we scored a TD on each of his drives.

The other two QBs managed just 10 points on their 7 drives. Or I should say 3 -- we played our 4th string walk on qb.
