Yeah I get you....I mean national and SEC championship coaches grow on trees. You just plug away until you find one....says everyone. Tennessee had there glory days and they fired a coach that got it done. THEY ARE THRIVING! Florida had their glory days and SEC/ National championships and their coach left....and the coach many UGA fans wanted to replace Richt got the job before getting fired and UF is thriving! Auburn won a SEC championship and UGA and the rest of the sec beat the hell out of them and their coach and he got fired....Bama has arguably the best coach in NCAA and they don't win the natty every year. I think Pruitt is a great coach but I believe someone is going to snatch him up soon. That said, why haven't you put your infinite wisdom together and submitted an application and took the job from Richt? 10 wins in the SEC is a damn accomplishment...I want a NC more than anyone! I'm sick and tired of internet gangsters and gurus hiding behind a ducking computer. You couldn't put two 10 win seasons together in 40 years in the SEC. Recruits commit to coaches....your theory in hiring, firing, hiring, firing... Until we find someone works great. Look at Miami after their run in the early 00's...Florida won 2 nattys and they are thriving after new coaches....Tennessee was successful and consistent under Fulmer but their dumbass fans and boosters had your mentality and it's worked out well. Please fire Richt so we can beg and plead for a .500 season! PLEEEEASE!!!!

You and any other fan who thinks like this for ANY fanbase is a problem. Richt hasn't won the SEC in 10 years, and in those 10 absent years Richt has only won the SEC East 2 times. 2 out of 10 for the SEC East

Yeah I get it, UGA isn't a top tier program and it is too much to expect an SEC championship or NC out of Richt. 9-10 wins is all that is needed, b/c as some folks on here have already pointed out, winning a NC wouldn't really do much for the program and the fans. So yes if you want to stay middle of the pack and put the 3rd most people in the NFL after Bama and LSU (who are just a couple of people ahead of us and UGA ranks 5th in the nation) yet not win anything of significance, then lets keep Richt.

Also who thought Richt was a great hire before he got to UGA? He was just a OC/qb coach at FSU who produced some good offensive stats, but then again we could also find many other OC/qb coaches RIGHT NOW with those similar qualifications. So my point is that if Richt came in with no proven head coaching experience and done good with all the loaded talent in the state of GA, then I'm sure some other coach could come in and do the same. It is just funny that people say if we fire Richt, then we will take the same road as Tenn did with Fulmer. I don't see how this logic works. That is to assume that UGA hires some terrible coach, when in fact I'm sure a bunch of good/great coaches would line up to be HC at UGA. Hell if we were able to pull in Pruitt who just came off 2 NC's to UGA, then I'm sure we could pull in a coach equal to Richt if not better.
