Linking newspaper articles and other blogs in FCS thread

I want to get clarification before I do it...
Do not link pay sites or premium sites is the rule correct?
If I wanted to link or copy an article from whatever newspaper. I feel some of the info could be good, as it would let some readers know some sources about games that could help determine playoff spots.

summarize, dont quote entire article, make sure you link article.

Generally I provide the link with some description of what the link id to or for, then quote some lines of text in said link relevant to thread topic.
