Watching Derrick Henry last night really makes me question Kiffin gameplan v OSU

Watched Derrick Henry carve up Wisconsin last night. Looked like a man among boys. Running right through the teeth of Wisconsin. His blitz pick-ups were mighty impressive as well. At one point I seen him lower his shoulder and run over Wisconsin Defensive End. He gashed OSU last year too in the bowl game and if Kiffin would have road him down the stretch I truly believe there is no doubt that OSU is NOT the defending National Champs right now with all this hype to repeat.

hes really not that good all he does is run behind his linemen and tries to get as many yards as he can but hes not that good at it unless his guys block for him and he can run it through the openings

Deciding factor was kiffin trying to get greedy throwing the ball in the corner of the end zone on 1st down in heavy coverage. But I agree pound the ball and bleed the clock.

So you're telling me he's no good unless he does what a running back is supposed to do?

if you work at burgerking and depend on your other cooks to make the fries and you put them on the plate and people think they are good does that make you a good cook?

Still have nightmares of where we got the ball around the 20 and threw a pick in the endzone.

He has done a fantastic job with the offense and seems really good at developing a system that fits whoever is playing QB, but that game was a stinker from him.

It doesn't help that Blake Sims really struggled that game and the defense was a disaster.

I'm positive you could shed more light on that than I could.

That was last year. New season. No regrets, we won the SEC in a rebuilding year. Brand new season and you come at us with this re-run bullshite. Every single team in this league has some significant change. Let's see how it plays out without comparing it to last year.

Henry was KILLING Oklahoma the year before and should have had 10 more touches.

He was hurting Ohio State too running left out of the pistol, they had no answer but once again should have had 20 plus touches.

Set up deep like that once he gets rolling he is hard to stop and is a much improved inside runner. Make a mistake and it goes like this..4 3 5 50 TD he is a touchdown waiting to happen if you don't get him quick. This year he seems to be punishing people too ask the Wisky safety that lined up for Alabama or the outside LB that tried to take him on later and got blasted.

You can't be more than 12 - 14 at most and have never played a single down of organized football in your life. Grammer never lies. Immaturity is your name.

eta - No matter how you slice it Henry is a load. If he gets up a little head of steam he's unstoppable. His weaknesses are running east and west or hesitating. He's got to hit the hole fast or his long legs become easy targets to bring him down.
