Wasn't that for the state championship?

T(rinity) vs (X)avier game is a regular season game. You are missing the bigger point, T vs X is played in a basketball crazy low population state (KY). Let that percolate for a second, get back to me when it sinks in.

So the KY state title game had more?

Congrats on finding one other largely attended game. For every one you find out of Texas, I can find 20 in Texas.

That's an annual rivalry game that regularly draws 40,000+.

Just trying to keep things in check, and big catholic cities all seem to have cross school big games. X vs T uses Cardinals Stadium, they have one in Cincinnati that uses the Bearcats Stadium and so it goes. We are all get you are proud of TX hs football, but as hg noted above, it is not like the other hs in 49 other states have no football.

There is a reason there is no college football on friday nights and it is not exclusive to TX. If it was, ESPN would broadcast TX hs football on friday nights and college football in the other 49 states.

On a side note, if you have to keep a city with 100,000 locked into a single high school, that is just sad man. Unnatural monopolies are UnMerica!
