Mack could be very good, if he continues to develop and gets proper coaching. It remains to be seen whether either will happen at aTm.

Daylon is super raw, he wasn't coached much at all in highschool. He was the UA MVP and a 5* purely of genetic luck and time in the weight room. His biggest knocks were height and all he knew was bull rush.

As I said in another of these Mack threads a while back, he's Anyhony Johnson v. 1.1.2. He's an athletic freak who's dominated based on that, and only that, to this point.

Whether he's successful in the SEC and beyond will be determined by his development. He can continue to rely on his athleticism and will be mediocre, or he can learn how to actually play the position and become a beast.

The question is, does aTm have the coaching to develop him? Only time will tell.

And going against the future NFL O-linemen that LSU, Bama, Arky, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc, will put out there he better be able to do a little more than bull rush. That will work against the Ball States and Nevadas of the world.
