2. Even multiple SEC championships wouldn't automatically get you in. There is so substitute for consistency, being up and down year after year and sprinkling a few titles here and there isn't good enough, and neither would be a 2-3 year run that was followed by a return to mediocrity.

there is no team even close to a bona fide nomination into the big 6. if ole miss catches on fire and wins a few NC's and SEC's and most of it's games for the next 10 years maybe they should be nominated. and there's no way the aggy or mizzou can be nominated for another 25 to 30 years; they simply haven't been around long enough and their records before joining the SEC were pretty mediocre.
