It's amazing how people look at this stuff. Alabama had a bad year on defense. That's not debatable. But it was still a national top ten defense. And it was a national top five defense and led the SEC from 2008-2013.

And just as a side note, the 2010 defense have up similar numbers to the 2014 defense. And tons of depth came back to produce that amazing 2011 defense. I seriously doubt those numbers can be reproduced, but the 2015 version will be very good.
