I don't disagree with this, but you have to realize the competition that he played against. Not exactly world beaters.

He played the SEC champ, the SECE champ, 3 other SEC teams and Iowa. Even though the other SEC teams he played against were not exactly awesome, they are still head and shoulders better than UT Martin, North Texas, Mkneese St, etc that most other QBs had to pad their stats against.
