Patterns exist everywhere in nature. Of course human's will tend to see that. Until you can prove there is no connection, then they are not meaningless

We see it because we're pattern seeking creatures -- that's how we learn and grow.

Assuming that the patterns are giant signs that humans are the focal point of the universe is just silly.

It's not my job to determine whether or not the patterns have meaning, it's your job to provide the evidence.

An artists rendition is not accurate portrayal of what we know of the universe, but hey, you wanna see silver linings in monkeys throwing shite against a wall, who am I stop you?

Until you can prove there is a meaningful connection, it is in fact meaningless.
