Thanks for posting the info. Ive heard a lot of buzz similar to what you heard.

The one thing we have to be mindful of is that true frosh are true frosh....no matter how gifted physically they are. Its the mental aspect to the game and knowing plays. Most coaches insert true frosh with a limited amount of playcalls to keep them from imploding...and of course what usually happens (with good coaching)is the progression leads to more snaps by mid season.

In some cases you have to start true frosh whether you want to or not...we aren't at that stage yet for any position. Spurriers best coaching job imo was 1992 after we lost a LOT of talent from 1990 & 1991 teams....remember that his first recruiting class wasn't great. He ended starting TWO true frosh on the OL in 1992....Reggie Green and Jason Odom...we took our licks early on...getting our bells rung by Moo State and UT. This was the inaugural SECCG year and UT held a two game lead on us based on face to face. Well....funny thing happened on the way to Hotlanta for the hillbillies, they lost and then lost again and by God lose again! UGA seemed to be in position to win the east but on Halloween night we beat them and repped the east....cant tell you how important that was for us to be there first. Odom and Green developed and by years end we were a much better team. Kevin Carter although not a true frosh...played like a beast on the DL.

Anyway...back to 2015...hoping to see two receivers start to become playmakers to ease the coverage on DRob. They have to catch the damn ball. But lets also consider that our receivers are going up against the countrys best secondary and LSU can kiss my lily white grits.

If we can stay fairly healthy...look out..we will surprise folks. The defense can carry us a long way.
The games Im worried about? UK, USCe & Mizzou are three that will be tough. UK hasn't beaten us since Eisenhower was president...they will be hungry at home.

The qb situation needs to be ironed out soon to give more reps to whoever starts...maybe Grady...who knew? Actually our walk on qb Jacob Guy is pretty fair passer...just not as mobile I think. Can young Mr Harris catch footballs? If Grier wins job and Grady can be solid backup...Harris should redshirt and become wr imo. He is not NFL size and regardless of Russell...its difficult to play pro ball with his size. However, as we all know....guys want to be qbs and will transfer out a lot. He has three years to play and can also r/s or transfer.

I like the TE situation...that can be huge and provide safety valve when pocket breaks down or everyone is covered.
