Seriously, my aunt (in her mid 60's) is in complete panic mode now because she didn't have any kids (didn't want any) and is now worried about who will take care of her and her assets when she's unable to.

Kids aren't a problem (burden). Parents who don't raise and discipline their kids correctly are the problem.
