Sounds like you've gotten good advice. Logistics was one of my favorite classes. Think the prof's name was Magness maybe? That was 20 years ago.

I was using a logistics warehouse before logistics warehouses were available. 
I did some space planning for a company way back when and we used a local warehouse to store some products and have them ship for us. We set up a payment system with them to cover the delivery and manpower. One of the first big projects I handled myself. Most of you were well, sperm when that happened.
