He kicked a FG earlier in the game with the laces in... Looks like he just hit it fat and snatched it left

That ball could have been laying flat on the ground and he still should have made it. The whole laces out thing is mental and not about how they affect how the ball comes off your foot. If this game is any indication he's seem the laces plenty of times this year.

Laces had nothing to do with it. If the laces were out, he still pulls the ball wide.
