You posted 3 pics of Nick Marshall throwing. He has a different lace position in each pic. Not sure it matters, but found it kind of interesting as many QBs prefer the ball to be in same spot in their hand with laces consistent on every throw.

Obviously you don't know much about QB'ing outside of throwing in your back yard. On certain throws QB's are taught to grab the ball and throw as quick as possible. That's not just a Gus thing. That's pretty much every QB past Pop Warner football. Every QB in the NFL will make throws w/o the laces.

Edit to add this is primarily done to make quick throws out of the gun. Dropping back you usually have time to find the laces.
