Of course.

I remember last year when Odom was a candidate for the DC job here, it would have been an "OK" hire, but I'm glad we landed Robb Smith instead.

Was he ever really a candidate? Or was he just pimping himself out for our job? Either way, I wouldn't have minded if we'd hired him, but I'm also glad we landed Smith, instead.

He had an interview, then like a new graduate took to twitter thinking that meant he landed the job.

Odom would have been a HR for Arkansas, just like he was for Mizzou.

Smith had a good first year. Let's see how he does with all the defections.

When has Richt had a decent offense when he doesn't have a stout stable of running backs?

When he was lining up 5 wide for 3rd and 1s with Stafford as QB?

Ah, I didn't know that. He was pimping for our job long before it opened, though.

He may have been solid, but far from a homerun. I seriously doubt he would have turned a mediocre, at best, defensive unit into a top 10 defense like Smith did.

Let's see how Odom does in a real conference, even if it is the weak SEC East before crowning him King.

But at the same time, most of you wouldn't give credit to Muschamp for his Florida defenses.

Could be because didn't improve Florida's defense all that much

At best he maintained what was there, while he took the offense to blocking itself right into the gutter.

It's what gave mizzou the 98th best offense in the nation last year.

so then you realize how stupid that statement was? or you don't, hard to tell..

either way Mizzou's offense was good enough to make you watch us in ATL again..

Do you disagree with the idea that talent can affect offensive output? Because that's what my statement was about.

Odom would have been a great hire for Arkansas. Dale you're a moron.

Robb Smith was a better hire.

Tell you what, if Odom does well and Robb does not, we will take Odom, because when it comes to coaches and Mizzou, Arkansas takes what they want.

Smith had an immediate impact his first season with the Hogs. From where we were before he was hired to where we were once he had enough game time to get his schemes right was night and day.

So... Mizzou posters with abnormally small peckers will start frothing at the mouth at the idea that Robb Smith was a better hire then Odom.

You know what? I have no fricking idea. I just know that the Razorbacks would not have made it to a bowl game without his contributions. Maybe Odom could have done as well. Maybe not.

Right now I'm happy with our hire.

Why do Ag's need confirmation so much.

He'll be better than what you had and will drive you nutz at the end of close games.

Can we move on?

Smith was a fine hire for you guys. As I already said, he did a good job in year 1.

Pretty sure no Mizzou fan even brought him up. Dale went typical retard Dale and decided he needed to puff his chest out and claim Arkansas passed on Odom.

I'm very happy with our guy. Worked out perfectly for us.
