The Bridges is Bay St Louis is a nice course that I'd recommend. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT play at Pass Isles. Terrible course.
Can't really speak for the East side of the coast, but Trapanis in Bay St Louis is okay. Service is usually bad but the food is good. I'd eat at the upstairs patio (different menus) and get the Shrimp Exctasy as an App. Crab stuffed Flounder with the Bay St Louis sauce is awesome too.
If you're into BBQ I'd check out the Shed in Vancleave.
Beau Rivage is obviously the best Casino. Ocean Springs is more of an artsy town that you'd enjoy having a couple of drinks at.

I played the Bridges on Monday. It was well taken care of. The par 4's were kind of weird. They were all short for the most part. I bet I used my driver 5 times the whole round... If you're accurate with a 3 wood with a decent wedge game, you can murder the par 4's and all of the par 5's are reachable in 2.
