I actually LOVE Marcel Duschamp. He was original and Dadaism had something to say. IIRC, their big first appearance was anti-war.

It's all the copycats these days (and even later on who weren't a part of Earlier Dadaism I take issue with because they never have a real meaning behind it all or come up with something new. Ok Duchamp since I had to look something up. Migraine make Prof dumb although French has always been weird for me since I didn't take it.

I mean who can't love Duchamp's "Fountain" and all it represented? It seems cliche today and would be if a new artist did it but that's because Dadaism and other schools shattered norms.

And no worries, I can do hella good impersonations with study and would totally go along your request there.

And yet another edit: My memory was correct: they were anti-war at the time. I'm not anti-all wars but I respect folks who stood up then since it really was not easy to do and IIRC it was WWI they were against.

Redact... Prof is slowly dropping from my list.

I prefer Giacometti over Duschamp.
