Backstories. People. History. Objectivity with some subjectivity.

I threw up there a few times

can be totally frat or hipster. Average ages 21-26

History, my friend opened it. Used to be B&B billiards. I like it. Sundays my friends band Voo Doo Soup plays. Probably one of the more talented groups around savannah. Gets a little too crowded fridays and saturdays

Don't really know much about its history. It's more of a younger crowd (21-30). Very big space with an outside courtyard type bar, and indoor bar that looks like your typical spot with a stage for music and foosball table and then a downstairs bar with pool tables and darts. Really good beer selection and great food, I get the French fries topped with pulled pork and homemade blue cheese. I went to high school in the area and every time I go to Social I see someone I haven't seen in years, so that's another reason I like it. Really it's just a good hybrid type bar that has a little something for everyone, although it's not a hole in the wall type of place. Extremely crowded on weekends. Short walk to a lot of other good bars also, especially The Rail Pub right next to it, which is basically everything Social isn't, a small hole in the wall that is more secluded.
