LSU has underachieved. Louisiana produces more NFL talent per-capita than any other state. Also consider they don't compete with other in-state schools for talent, unlike Alabama. They have the best recruiting situation of any school, but don't have the results to show for it.

Les isn't a bad coach, but he isn't great either. I doubt he ever wins another championship. He gets outcoached vs Saban, Meyer, etc.

This is the type of bullshite rivals and even our own fan believe. Where were all the recruits in late 80s and 90s? Going to other schools because LSU does not recruit it's self, coaches do. Saban started and Les has maintained it. Those Florida State and Miami teams in the 80s and 90s were loaded with La players.

LSU may not have an instate rival but all the other schools from across the country set up camp here to get the La kids.
