I get that sportswriters need to usually remain objective, but sportscasters (particularly radio guys on the so-and-so school radio network) have a responsibility to convey the game and atmosphere as they see it, as it's unfolding. I'd rather hear them excited and into it than neutral and trying to remain calm.
