It appeared to me that Coleman lost his confidence. Could he get it back? Possibly, but it's a moot point now.

The truth is we don't really know what Collins can do either. He seems to have a nice shot, which is what we need, but he also looked to have a high dribble. We'll see if he can keep up his TO/assist and TO/steal ratios in the SEC. Last year they were both pretty good.

The PG prospects for '17 look solid. I like where we are, getting guys that fill needs for next season and having the scholarship available for 2017. That's just my preference and no offense to Coleman. I also believe that Coleman and AJ Jr. probably have similar skill sets. No need to have two undersized backup PGs on the same roster right?

Anyway, I agree with the guy that says we'll be better, but so will the competition. Hopefully our improvement will show up in the win-loss column.

Yes, there's definitely a reason that Coleman transferred to Samford. He didn't really fit in as a division 1 player. He could, and has shown glimpses of it, but he would be better at a school like Samford. The spotlight is now off of him and I bet he'll get his confidence back and be a star at Samford. Some guys just aren't meant to live up to the hype they get out of high school. Coleman is an example. Kessens on the other hand, he just didn't have the talent, that's why he's going to FIU. CAJ knows what he's doing, and he knew those two weren't gonna be able to help us much this coming year and he wants us to improve.
